Welcome to Newham Community Project

Newham Community Project (NCP) is dedicated to empowering underprivileged, vulnerable, and economically disadvantaged individuals, including those with no recourse to public funds. Through initiatives like our foodbank, advocacy, and wraparound support with a trauma-informed approach, we tackle food and child poverty, inequality, and social exclusion, creating lasting positive change and resilience in the lives of those we serve.

Who we are

Newham Community Project (NCP) is a grassroots organisation (Reg no. 1128596), established in 2008, dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing adversity. Founded on the principles of dignity, inclusion, and equality, we aim to empower the underprivileged and vulnerable through practical support, advocacy, and community-driven initiatives.

We address critical issues through a trauma-informed approach, promoting resilience and empowering communities to navigate systemic barriers and build sustainable futures. Our work is rooted in the belief that meaningful change is possible when communities come together to support one another, breaking down barriers and building pathways to opportunity.

At NCP, we are more than a service provider; we are a source of connection and empowerment. We are committed to creating a future where no one is left behind, where every individual has the skills and support needed to overcome challenges, and where compassion drives action to build a more inclusive and just society.

We offer shelter, support, and resources to those experiencing homelessness, helping them regain stability and independence. Your support brings hope and change.
